- A strong passwordNot a birth date and not "12345678". The administrator password is known to one or two people.
- Separate accountsA member of staff who only needs to watch gets an account without the right to change settings or erase the archive.
- Access of former staffWhen someone leaves, their access in the app is revoked the same day.
- UpdatesManufacturers release updates that close vulnerabilities. They are installed during servicing.
- Remote access through the manufacturer's serviceOpening a recorder directly to the internet is risky. Watching through the manufacturer's app is safer.
- The recorder under lockIf it is carried off, the footage goes with it. It is kept in a locked cabinet or room.
