What phone viewing takes
- Internet at the siteThe recorder or the camera must be connected to the internet. Without it recording continues, but you cannot watch from afar.
- The manufacturer's appEach manufacturer has its own app. For Hikvision equipment it is Hik-Connect.
- An accountThe system is linked to your account. Access can be shared with other people too — a manager, for example.
- What you seeLive view from all cameras and the archive of footage for the day and hour you need.
- AlertsThe system can be set so that the phone notifies you of motion in a chosen zone.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the picture on the phone worse than on the monitor?
To save mobile data the app shows a lighter stream by default. High quality can be switched on in the viewing settings.
Can I watch the archive from a phone?
Yes. In the app you choose the camera, the day and the time.
Do I need a computer for this?
No. A phone and internet are enough.
