Most often a fault is discovered on the day the footage is needed and it is not there. Maintenance exists so that day never comes.

What it includes
Six checks
- Camera glassDust and cobwebs spoil the picture, especially at night. The glass is wiped and cobwebs removed.
- The picture from each cameraThe camera is checked to be showing the right place: the angle may have shifted, or the view may be overgrown or blocked by a sign.
- Whether recording is runningThe archive is opened to see that every camera records and that the footage covers the number of days needed.
- DisksThe recorder monitors disk health itself. Its warnings are read before a disk fails.
- Date and timeIf the recorder's clock has drifted, the right moment is hard to find in the archive and the footage loses value as evidence.
- Connectors and powerOutdoor connections, power supplies and UPS batteries are inspected.

How often is maintenance needed?
It depends on the site: outdoors and in dusty rooms cameras get dirty faster than in an office.
What can I check myself?
Open the archive once a week and see that there is footage from all cameras for the last few days.
Do you service systems?
Yes: scheduled maintenance, repair, adjustment and expansion of systems already installed, with visits on request.
