- 1. Do not waitThe recorder writes new footage over the oldest. In a few weeks the footage you need may be gone.
- 2. Choose the camera and the dayOpen the archive on the recorder or in the app and choose the camera, the date and the rough time.
- 3. Look by eventsThe timeline usually marks the moments when there was motion in the frame. That way the right minute is found faster.

- 5. Check that the file opensOpen the saved file on a computer or a phone before you consider the job done.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can footage that has been overwritten be recovered?
As a rule, no: the recorder has written new footage over it.
Why do the date and time on the recorder matter?
If the clock is wrong, the footage sits at the wrong place on the timeline and you have to search blind.
Will you show how to search for footage?
Yes. At handover we show staff how to use the system and stay in touch.
