CCTV and access control in a training centre

A training centre has many people, and most of them are not staff. The system's job is to know who came in and to see the shared areas.

What is installed

Five solutions

  • A turnstile at the entranceStudents and teachers pass by card or by face; an outsider cannot simply walk in.
  • A camera at the entranceEveryone who enters is visible, and so is what happens at the doors.
  • Corridors and hallsShared areas are in view: you see what happened during a break and who was nearby.
  • Yard and car parkCameras on the grounds and at the gate, with a barrier at the entrance if needed.
  • Where cameras are not placedThere must be no cameras in changing rooms and toilets. This is discussed at the design stage.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

What about parents and guests?

They are let in after registration: you see who came and whom they came to see.

Are cameras needed in classrooms?

That is for the centre's management to decide. Technically these are ordinary indoor cameras.

Who selects cameras for the site?

We do: we visit, inspect the site and select equipment for the task and budget. The visit and the estimate are free.
