Shapes
Housing shapes
- DomeA half-sphere on the ceiling. Discreet, and it is hard to tell where it is looking. The usual choice indoors.
- BulletA long housing on a bracket, often with a visor. Clearly visible and a warning in itself. The usual choice for walls and outdoors.
- TurretA ball lens in a cup, with no glass dome. Night illumination does not reflect off glass, and the direction is easy to adjust.
- Pan-tilt-zoomA camera with motors: it turns and zooms. Needed where an operator watches a large area.
- What to chooseA dome for a room with a low ceiling, a bullet for a facade and a gate.
